Rights of Way

The Rights of Way Team are responsible for 3500 kilometres of footpaths, bridleways and byways that provide public access to the outstanding countryside of Northamptonshire.

Northamptonshire is a diverse County with large rural areas and heavily populated urban areas all linked by the established Rights of Way network.

The network provides an extremely valuable resource to the wide range of people who use the network for leisure, health, recreation and sustainable links between communities.

The network consists of approximately 3093km of Rights of Way in both rural and urban areas.

All ROW are on private land, the majority crossing arable and pasture fields
