As part of our commitment to encourage school leavers to consider construction services as a career, KierWSP has launched The Trainee Scheme. Each year we recruit a number of entry level variety of initiatives aimed at education, recruitment and career development.
KierWSP is dedicated to supporting school leavers to achieve recognised academic qualifications, and at the same time gain valuable on the job experience.
This training programme offers school leavers a unique opportunity to join our company. You will be trained and developed across a variety business areas. We want you to be passionate and committed to your own personal development and building a career with KierWSP.
You will learn what it is like to work in a business environment and our training and development team, along with your assigned mentor will help you to develop your career and equip you with a variety of skills.
You will also have the opportunity to work with your fellow colleagues on “real-life” projects which will have an impact and help to shape the future of our business. This aims to give you experience of working within a team, having a goal to achieve and actual time constraints to work to in order to meet your goal as a team.
We take our trainees and the training process they go through very seriously; we hope and expect that the time and money we invest in you early on will bring returns to you and KierWSP in years to come. It’s not just about academic results: we want well-rounded people with a variety of experiences.
